Don’t wait til the last minute!

So the saying goes. But I, however, love the last minute! It’s gonna snow tomorrow? Let’s get a cabin up in the mountains and invite family and friends up to play! Tickets become available to the country music awards in Vegas next week? Let’s go! So that’s what we did…. Went from the mountains to the desert over the course of just a few days. On our drive up to the mountains we saw the most beautiful rainbow I think I’ve ever seen. Had a great time playing in the snow with the kids! Even saw a couple beautiful wolves (not to worry - they were on leashes). Also spent some time walking around town visiting the candy shop, gift shops, an art gallery, an awesome Mexican restaurant and one of my favorite wineries. So fun…. And from there we headed to Vegas and heard so many great country artists perform live. Was a great show! And that new Raiders stadium is really nice (even though I’m not a Raiders fan haha). Spent the night then drove back home. I would say “back to reality” but truth is, that is our reality…. Family, friends, travel…. For that I’ll be forever grateful! And that’s another thing I love about my hubby - always up for a new adventure…. even if it is last minute. ❤️
